How do I make a new appointment or get help from the surgery?
The practice is open and you will be triaged as soon as possible.
For non-urgent medical matters we are able to care for you. However, we need to do things slightly differently to protect you from Coronavirus. For all of the services listed below please email or call the surgery:
- Telephone and face-to-face appointment
- Email advice
- Appointments for blood tests, any other tests, dressings, wound care, smears, family planning, vaccinations or other routine procedures
- Any medical and medication advice or queries.

Evening & Weekend Appointments Available to Book Online
Evening and weekend appointments are available with GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Nurses at Rosewood Medical Centre and Haiderian Medical Centre book online here. If you have any issues booking an appointment please contact the practice. You can also book by scanning the QR code which is found in reception.

Video Consultations:
We will soon be sending details of how you can book a video consultation with a doctor or nurse.
Consulting your Doctor
You can book your appointments yourself by registering for online services, or you can telephone us or pop into the surgery to book your appointment. Please inform the receptionist if you would like a longer appointment for more than one condition.
Emergencies
To call your doctor in an acute emergency phone 01708 520830 during the following hours:
8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday
The receptionist will take appropriate action to contact a doctor immediately, where needed.
If you need help when we are closed
- Use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111. 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
- Out of hours information
- If it’s a life-threatening emergency call 999.
Consulting your Nurse
You may make an appointment by phone to see the Practice nurse.
Telephone Advice
If you would like medical advice from the doctor or nurse please call 01708 520830 and explain this to the receptionist. Usually this will be between 11.30am and 12.00pm.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
Try the NHS App
You can now use the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services and your GP account on your smartphone or tablet.
You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record, access your Covid vaccination status and more.
If you already use online access you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

Home Visits
If possible please try to telephone reception before 10.30am if you require a home visit.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.
You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
Travel Vaccinations
Please ensure you book your appointment well in advance of travel, as appointment pressures may result in us not being able to carry out the vaccinations at the surgery if booking at short notice.
